In a depressed economy, sometimes you simply don’t have the
option of going out and acquiring the goods and/or services you need. Enter the
barter system.
Bartering, or trading, has been around for as long as
civilization. I have something you want and you have something I want, let’s
trade. Simple. You fix my sewing machine, I will bake you a cake. You take
family pictures, I make you a cake (or five.) [Insert whatever I want] for cake.
Sound like a deal?
